Can I hang a protruding light at the bedroom hallway?

Reply: Often an aircon serviceman or something carrying a ladder may have to pass through this narrow corridor.

Most of the time, the service person does not look up and at times, the tip of the ladder may hit or damage a protruding hallway light.

Thus it is preferred to use flushed lights to ensure or minimize such an accident (if any)
