bercardor
Hi CecilRecently , I find that there is no career advancement, get sick easily when working and little people coming out from my workplace. Therefore I need your guidance on whether the following things are causing the above problem troubles:(1) I am a fire element born in dog year (1970). My lucky element is wood. I am working as a document engineer. Can I place a small plant on desk? If yes, which type of plant is suitable and place at my right or left side?(2) I am sit facing north . Behind me there is a built-in wooden cabinet with a open shelve. The cabinet also has a extension cabinet out over my head (look like a overhead beam)I learnt that sitting with opening shelves behind you and overhead beam above you are not good. What can I do about this as I cannot remove the cabinet? How can I cover up the opening?(3) I put some small soft toys, a chinese new year decoration (orange symbol with chinese word and two bells) , a apple crystal on my computer and monitor. I also put my vitamins, a cup and radio on my desk. Are these ok? Will it affect anything?(4) Are there any things else that I can improve the chi in my working place? Thanks
Staff Cecil Lee Posted February 24, 2000 Staff Share Posted February 24, 2000 Dear Anon,1. Overall, if one is especially falling sick, is a candidate to use the Flying Star to check if one is affected by any imbalance at the sector especially the Sickness star 2 or star 5 or any other imbalances within that sector.2. For career advancement, one may need to do a more indepth analysis. But this may require a range of analysis from the use of Pillars (to have a peek at one's heaven chart to see what is one's life like). This will more or less tell if one is either blessed with a silver spoon or average to even below average life.3. For the home, do try to use the:3.1 Shapes and Form, check to see especially poison arrows. And Four symbolic animals.3.2 Eight house to check how suitable the house is to the person and the sleeping sector.Do take note that Feng shui is really meant to properly applied to eliminate or reduce sha qi.Please see below:- Quote On 2/23/00 7:36:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:Hi CecilRecently , I find that thereis no career advancement, getsick easily when working andlittle people coming out frommy workplace. Can the cabinet be dismantled and placed sideways.I learnt that sitting withopening shelves behind you andoverhead beam above you arenot good. What can I do aboutthis as I cannot remove thecabinet? How can I cover upthe opening? Frankly, in the office environment, unlike the home, it is difficult to place `cures' as it would be visible to the `public'. Quote (4) Are there any things elsethat I can improve the chi inmy working place? Check your Eight House to see if you can sit facing a good direction or the sector is a good location for you. bercardor
Hi CecilThanks for the adviceBut there is no cabinet edge behind me . The cabinet is one whole stretch wall mounted from one wall to another wall. There is a middle size opening shelf behind me. The rest of the cabinet are enclosed. How can I camouflage the opening as the cabinet is unmovable and no matter how I shift forward the table (not much space left), the opening is still behind meThanks for advice Quote On 2/23/00 7:36:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:Hi CecilRecently , I find that thereis no career advancement, getsick easily when working andlittle people coming out frommy workplace. Staff Cecil Lee Posted February 24, 2000 Staff Share Posted February 24, 2000 Dear Anon,As the protusion is a wooden cabinet, and acts like a overhead beam, you can try to use big metal `6 coins' tied together with a red string and stick it below the cabinet (less obstrusive) from view. However, if the cabinet is made of metal, fire element would be needed.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 2/24/00 7:28:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:Hi CecilThanks for the adviceBut there is no cabinet edgebehind me .
