moon88
Dear cecil,I read somewhere that the mountain star should never be activated in the living room or dinning room. Is it true. Thanks.
Staff Cecil Lee Posted March 13, 2000 Staff Share Posted March 13, 2000 Dear Anon,1. The Living RoomUsually, the centre area of the living room should be `low' areas e.g. the highest points are usually the sofa seats. It is acceptable to have the walls with higher cabinets. In the living room, we should `activate' the water star. Not necessary go out and buy a fountain but when we mention the water star, it can be low furniture. This is so that at eye level we can see the entire room.2. The Dinning roomThe dinning table usually occupies the dinning room. As such, one should also apply the same concept i.e. water star i.e. keeping the middle sector of the living room `low'.Low which means the table is usually of a height where we can see the entire room. It is acceptable for the chair back rest to be higher. But overall, we can see the room without any partitions etc...Some believe that the mountain star can only be activated especially if it is the backdoor or a room e.g. a bedroom. While some practitioners do take one wall which is not the external wall where windows are to activate the mountain star should it occur or present. In my opinion, I would look at activating the mountain stair only in a room e.g. a bedroom, study room or the backdoor. However, some houses are unique as they have a room specifically as their dinning room. If this is a case, so long as the mountain star is not at the windows, it is `really' no harm, if one wants to try and activate the mountain star on a wall shared between another room. lightsong
Dear Cecil,You mentioned that the Mountain Star should only be activated on a wall away from windows. Must the entire wall be without windows or: 1. Can you place it on a shelf about four feet away from the nearest window?2. Can it be hung on a wall next to the bed room door?3. Is there any criterion on how the back door is. For example, my back door is a sliding glass door.4. I'm also having a little trouble deciding which element I should use to activate the mountain star. I know you mentioned that we should not use an element that is already too strong in that area, but for instance: If the Flying Star Report called for a metal remedy and I already put up 6 coins that means that section should already be in balance. Now, if there is a mountain star in that location, what element could I use that wouldn't unbalance it? The section I'm referring to is the North East, base star 9, mountain star 1, water star 2, yearly star 3.5. In addition, March's flying star for that section is 7, metal. Given the March star is the remedy that the section needs, I'm wondering if I should remove the six coins from this location till April? Thanks,Cheui May
