Closed doors and closed windows and MS

Dear cecil,
I read somewhere that one can activate a mountain star by closing a window and door. That if there is a mountain star in the location and there is a door that if one closes the door it will activate the mountain star. Is it true. Thanks.

Dear Anon,
1. Generally, Mountain star should be activated at the backdoor or in a room e.g. at the location of a wall.
2. Under the Flying Star Feng Shui priority should go to neutralising any imbalances.
3. A mountain star should be activated with a solid wall behind. There is still controvesy as to whether it will work if one closes the window.

Doesn't every combination have a Mountain star? On the Top left...
