Plants in the bathroom

Dear cecil,
One of my sector is occupied with the bathroom and it requires a wood cure but I read somewhere that one should not keep plants in the bathroom. So should I put a plant inside the bathroom to cure the imbalance or should I put some thing wooden instead of plant. Thanks.
