Dear Cecil,
I read that it is not good to have the master bedroom on top of the garage. Unfortunately, my master bedroom is on top of the garage. What can I do to bring about good Qi on the master bedroom?
Additionally, the foot of the master bed faces the bathroom door. I understand that is not good, too. That is the only position whereby I can fit the bed in the room. Is there anything I can place like a hanging crystal to break the flow? The bathroom door, tho, faces the dressing room mirror. Is that good?
Thanks for your help.

Dear Anon,
There are two `issues' brought up considering this. Most of the time, one should not be too unduly worried about it.
The two `issues' are:
1. Some FS practitioners consider it `inauspicious' because, in the event, that a car catches fire, the bedroom is directly above it.
But based on reasoning, this `risk' is neglible for most of us as a car catching fire, is rare unless it is thru mischief or other causes.
2. Some FS practitioners believe that a car, is = metal, and thus, there may be too much metal at that sector especially if there is an imbalance at that sector where either metal aids the bad #star or enhances it.
A Flying Star analysis would be able to check on this.
Other than the above, it should not be an `issue' here.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil

Never confuse education with intelligence. You can have a Bachelor's Degree and still be an idiot.

In Summary

There are two concerns raised in this context. Generally, one should not be overly apprehensive about these matters. The two concerns are as follows:

1. Common Sense: Certain Feng Shui practitioners regard it as 'inauspicious' due to the potential risk of a car catching fire, with the bedroom situated directly above it. However, upon closer examination, this risk is minimal for most individuals, as incidents of car fires are infrequent and typically result from negligence or other unusual circumstances.

2. Some practitioners assert that a car, being composed of metal, may contribute to an excess of metal in that particular sector. This could lead to an imbalance, where the presence of metal either exacerbates the negative influence of a particular star or amplifies it. A Flying Star analysis could provide further insights into this situation.

Examples to look out for:-

a. avoid a bed directly above a stove which is on ground floor &/or
b. a toilet/wc on the 2nd floor above a stove &/or

c. a wc/sewerage pipe on the 2nd floor directly above the main door... etc...
