Staff Cecil Lee Posted May 9, 2000 Staff Share Posted May 9, 2000 Dear Steven,The two most common metal `cures' are:1. The six coins which represent `Big Metal'.2. Some other Feng Shui practitioners sell a brass / copper `Feng Shui ruler'. Because of the content of `metal' in it, these practitioners want you to buy it. To them, it is the equivalent of `Big metal.'As the `life sized' ruler is indeed made of metal, one cannot argue that it is not a `metal' - cure. Since it is like the size of a normal ruler, it contains quite alot of metal.3. The Bells if they are made of metal can be considered `metal' but to the extend; it is difficult to say if it represents `Big metal' or not.In a previous posting, I mentioned that bells have a significance during a ceremony for the dead. The Chinese belief that ringing the bell during the funeral procession allows the person's spirit to be guided e.g. to his/her new home e.g. a new grave.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 5/8/00 4:26:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:Hi cecil,i have just purchase 2 anticbells from a shop near by. Guest
Hi cecil,I just remember that sometime ago, a Feng Shui master from HK use bells as feng shui cure. If i am not mistaken, he is employ by a hotel for a sum of RM300,000 (according to my source). I will try to take some photos on my antic bells and post it here for all to see.Thank you,Steven
Staff Cecil Lee Posted May 10, 2000 Staff Share Posted May 10, 2000 Dear Steven,1. Thanks very much for the information and most of us will look forward for the future phots of the antic bells.2. There are quite alot of `inventions' or `cures' or enhancers in the market.Overall, I believe bells are near eqivalent of wind chimes as they make noise. Some Feng Shui practitioners prefer the use of grandfather (or pendulum) clocks as it makes a constant `tine' or tick tock metal sound.3. In Hong Kong, some practitioners or manufacturers also come up with things like Qi detector. Once again, many thanks:)Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 5/10/00 1:04:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:Hi cecil,I just remember that sometimeago, a Feng Shui master fromHK use bells as feng shuicure.
