Kieron
Dear Cecil,There is a dead or dying tree on the border between my house property and the house next door. I have heard that dying trees are poison arrows but other books make no reference to this. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks. :)Kieron
Staff Robert Lee Posted April 24, 1999 Staff Share Posted April 24, 1999 Dear Kieron,Under Feng Shui, the most `vulnerable' area for poison arrows are:1. the main entrance door.2. the view from windows inside the house. The concept of `poison arrows' is that if you cannot see the poison arrow, there is no longer a threat. For a dying tree between your home and your neighbours, it is no `threat'unless:1. it can be viewed from a window of a house and when it fulfil para 2below.2. when the tree disintegrates into a `tree stump'. When you only have a`broken' tree stump, this now becomes a `sha' provided when you peer throughthe window, it is tangent or perpedicular to it.In the long run, it is best to totally uproot the tree incase of decay andespecially if it is large to fall and hurt someone. In my country, we dohave termites and it would be `wise' to pull down the tree or if it can berescued, then that's fine. Maybe you could make some agreement with yourneighbour to share the costs. In conclusion, currently there is no threat unless it satisfies conditionunder Para 1. and 2. above.Warmest Regards,Cecil-----Original Message-----From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed>Date: Saturday, April 24, 1999 10:04 PMSubject: dead or dying tree in yard Quote From: "Joe Sehl" This message is sent from "free-advice" Mailing List.Dear Cecil,There is a dead or dying tree on the border between my house property andthe house next door.
