I have been looking at my house's layout using my Kua number for good directions, when I look at the house with my husbands number it appears what is auspicious direction for me are the opposite ones for him and vice versa. By hanging or placing something in an area to activate good energy for me, will this in turn activate bad energy for him??
Which one of us would we feng shui the house around? Him as the main bread winner or me as I am in the house most the time? Or by working it seperately and putting appropriate things in the particular areas for both of us, will this have the desired effect??
Thanks

Dear Susan,
It is quite common for the husband and wife to have "opposite" houses or kua under the Eight House Theory.
Under the Eight House Theory, do look out for:-
1. How suitable the house is to the breadwinner i.e. one's kua or intangible force at the main entrance.
2. The Eight House relates to how much time we spent at a sector of the house. Thus it would be useful to know what is the intangible force for the spouse and husband in the bedroom.
Where possible, let the person who beneifits most sleep closer to the intangible force. While the person who does not have a good influence sleep further away from that sector. (A good bonus is if one sleeps e.g. with the head facing a good direction).
3. Other than the above, in the office, where possible sit facing a good direction.
The above, is as much as the Eight House Theory provides. It does not go further than the above.
4. More importantly, is to make sure that e.g the position of the bed conforms FIRSTLY with the Shapes and Form. For example, it is `no point' placing the bed on the same wall as the toilet.
But rather, place it in a good Shapes and Form position is MORE important consideration.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
