Administrator
Dear Anita,There are three `issues' regarding the computer:1. The Video Display Screen which is made of glass. Depending on the typeof computer screen used, some are `reflective'. If you have read manymessages on `avoiding' mirrors in the bedroom, here, the computer screen =mirror and should preferably not face any part of the bed. If so, you cansimply use a computer cover or a cloth to cover it when not in use.2. Some Feng Shui Masters believe that computers are `electrical' andbelongs to the water element. In this case, if will affect thoseparticularly those with `weak' fire element.3. As computers are `electrical' there will be some form of magneticinterference and some believe that it is not good to place it at one'sauspicious location. Furthermore, again depending on the brand of themonitor screen, some may be low radiation, while others `high' radiation. Some FS practioners will ask one to place plants. A NASA study had foundplants good for indoors and outdoors.Personally, I feel point number 1 is the most important consideration. Butagain, like I mention, it all depends on the QUALITY of the personalcomputers purchased. Many good computers have screens that do not reflectthus no longer act as a mirror. While others are very low radiation andsafe. In Feng Shui, we again should not go too detailed into " peanut " Feng Shuibut rather go with our feelings in this area. I will be more worried if yourbed faces the toilet bowl or it faces directly the door. As I mentioned, place these at locations where you feel "correct" is the most importantthing.Cecil-----Original Message-----From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed>Date: Sunday, April 25, 1999 1:31 AMSubject: placement of computers in the bedroom Quote From: "Anita Agarwal" This message is sent from "free-advice" Mailing List.dear sir'thank you very muchc for the answer of my question. i am very muchsatisfied by your answer. now i want to know that in which direction of theroom the computer should be kept? please let me know. thanking youanita agarwal -->
Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 14, 2019 Staff Share Posted July 14, 2019 Question: The plants around the glass will be outdoors. Any issues using fake plants? 1. Primarily based on common sense, here. 2. In an office fake plants are fine or okay as they are in an aircon environment. Thus less dusty. 3. Fake plants outdoors and since no watering of leaves etc.. can be dusty... good luck if allegic and not maintained frequently....that's all
Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 14, 2019 Staff Share Posted July 14, 2019 Yah I'm thinking it's difficult the maintain the plants as the area is narrow. Better to have fake plants then messy/dying plants?
