cactusflower
When we use a kua number to find an auspicious direction (or sheng ch'i). Then for putting it in practice do we use the compass or do we use the bagua to locate the direction. Example for kua number 1 the best direction is south east. Now do we go by the compass or do we locate the number 4 from the bagua.
Staff Cecil Lee Posted August 3, 2000 Staff Share Posted August 3, 2000 Dear Rasika,1. It is best to follow the `method' provided (totally) from a source andnot mix e.g. what one reads from a book and `mix' the methods used in otherbook or website.2. For example, in this website, the method used is to follow step-by-stepinstructions under: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house1.htm or use the freecomputerised Eight House report. In this website, you get a graphicaldiagram showing all the eight kua directions and each person's intangibleforce at e.g. North, South, East, West, NE, NW, SE, SW.Based on this website, you should find the centrepoint of the house and usean ordinary compass. Instructions are athttp://www.geomancy.net/fs/cecilcompass.htm3. It is never wise to read up half a book, and then follow instructionsfrom another book or site. If traditional FS methods are followed, and ifone follows the instructions FULLY in a book or website, you should get thesame result.Warmest Regards,Cecil----- Original Message -----From: "free-advice Listmanager" To: Sent: Friday, August 04, 2000 5:49 AMSubject: Kua number to find auspicious direction Quote From: "Rasika CHADHA" When we use a kua number to find an auspicious direction (or sheng ch'i).Then for putting it in practice do we use the compass or do we use the baguato locate the direction.
