1. I am a NW person but live in a SE house - which means the front door faces my DEATH direction. What can I do to neutralise this?
2. When using the 8-house method, do we activate sectors according to what house the main breadwinner is as against what the house is e.g. again I an NW but live in a SE house - do I activate the sectors which under a NW house would be good for me or work according to what sectors are good in a SE house?
3. We wish to have a family soon, what sector should we activate in a SE house when I am NW?

In Feng Shui, there are several theories manily Shapes and Form and Compass
Schools: Eigth House and Flying Star.

In general, the Eight House Theory looks at:
1. How suitable a person is to the house.
2. Areas where one spent time at should preferably be a good sector for the
person.
As far as the Eight House theory is concerned, (other than the main entrance
door sector which in this case, is not a suitable house for you).
You should also look at the intangible force at the bedroom area.
Other than the above, it is difficult to neutralise any intangible force
based on this theory.

As the Eight House is based on one's Kua number, we do not activate the
sectors even if it is based on the main breadwinner or another member of the
family. As the Eight House Theory, is not related to the Five Elements, we
do not `activate' a sector using this theory.

In traditional FS, we can use Flying Star to neutralise or activate a sector
instead.

house when I am NW?

Normally, Shapes and Form is used to find a suitable placing of the bed in a
room and Flying Star is used in neutralise or `activate ' the sector (this
depends on individual house birth chart).
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
