versio
Hi everybody,I recently bought an apartment, and am about to renovate it. I bought a book on Feng Shui, and am trying to design my new place according to the principles it describes. When I was working on my study/bedroom layout, I ran into a problem. My head would face north in bed. Somebody told me that it's a problem. Also, I would have very little space in front of my legs, which is quite restricting for the Phoenix, right? Is there a way to stimulate Phoenix without giving him physical space? Like, using red color, putting up a painting of Phoenix, etc?I'll appreciate any advice. Please e-mail me at michalginter@volny.cz. Thanks. M.
Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 3, 2000 Staff Share Posted September 3, 2000 Dear Michal,1. Many elements of "Shapes and Form" School of Feng Shui is about commonsense approach.2. The main thing one should remember is that we should make the `room' fit us rather than to "re-design" ourselves to fit the environment.3. Here, it does not sound appropriate for you to fit into the "principles of FS" based on the book, do re-examine, what you would have done if you have not picked up the book on Feng Shui.4. Under the Shapes and Form School of Feng Shui, things should be `natural' e.g. placing the bed at a location where one feels comfortable. For example placing the bed against a solid wall. 5. Only after one has done the above and have the luxury to be able to face say a " good direction " then try to do so.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 9/1/00 9:08:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:Hi everybody,I recently bought anapartment, and am about torenovate it.
