Brigitte
Dear Cecil,We are having terrible problems with the water and drainage in and outside my house. The toilets(we have 2, one upstairs and one down) are beginning to break down, one part at a time. Every week it's another part that breaks. This is also happening to our washing machine. And now our outside septic system has failed, the engineers have no idea why and say it will cost us at least $15,000 to replace. It appears that anything having to do with water and drainage is affected. I have tried to research this in books, but there is no mention of this type of problem. What have I done and is there any general cure for this type of problem? Thank you!Kathy
Staff Cecil Lee Posted October 10, 2000 Staff Share Posted October 10, 2000 Dear Kathy,1. It is difficult to use FS to look into such a problem.2. Most probably it could be due to earlier `defective' workmanship or other problems e.g. low water pressure etc...3. If your house is still under `warranty' you could seek redress.4. It is also good to get a second opinion (especially if the `engineers' that provided u with the advise has a vested interest in it.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 10/10/00 2:36:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:Dear Cecil,We are having terribleproblems with the water anddrainage in and outside myhouse. Brigitte
Dear Cecil,Thank you for the advice. I am relieved to hear that I probably didn't cause all these water/drainage type of problems with one of my amateur "cures". We have had 2nd opinions and it is really "broken". It is good to know my fiddling didn't influence it.Kathy
