Staff Cecil Lee Posted January 14, 2001 Staff Share Posted January 14, 2001 Dear Rakesh,1. This has usually more to do with symbolism or beliefs.2. The belief is that if one has a ship painting, it should not be of a stormy weather where it may imply that the ship may be caught in a tidal wave or storm and sink.3. In the above situation, it is not ideal symbolism to have a painting where the ship may sink and relate this to a company where.. the company may go under.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 1/13/01 2:28:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:HI,I have recently read aboutphoto of a ship in Waters isvery bad to kept at Office. Can someone enlighten. Staff Cecil Lee Posted August 19 Staff Share Posted August 19 IN SUMMARY The main takeaway is that the symbolism in ship paintings, particularly those depicting stormy weather, is often viewed negatively, as it may suggest impending failure or disaster, which is undesirable for a company’s image. Therefore, it is preferable to choose artwork that conveys stability and success.
