Hi Cecil,
Recently I had read some books and I am confused with some colours relationship with
the five elements. I hope that you can
enlighten me on that.
For the colour brown, is this the colour of wood or earth element ?
For the colour of bright yellow, is this the
colour of gold or earth? Some books say that
bright yellow is gold and pale yellow is earth.
For purple, what is the element related to
it?
Lastly, can you advice me what are the colours that is related to fire beside red and pink, yellow and beige that is related to earth.
This is because I am a weak earth person and the pillar of destiny(Premium) advice me that I need this colours to help me.
Thanks a lot
Kenny

In general, the colour brown should be considered as wood element. Both brown and green are considered = wood element.
I can quite understand that some would argue that " brown " can be seen as the colour of earth. But, overall, it should still belong to (in my opinion brown = wood).

Yes, Yellow colour can be quite subjective as it can either be looked at as gold or earth.
I tend to agree with what you had mentioned. However, this is can be a very subjective topic.
Where possible, if one is not sure, it is best to use WHITE = metal element.
For example, if one tries to enhance a room or a home with metal element, it would be best to paint the walls WHITE (to represent the metal element) rather than use bright yellow.
When we look at gold i.e. 99.999 percent gold it is difficult to mould and wear and usually other metals are added to harden it. Here, the colour of the gold i.e. 18K may not be the same colour as pure gold.
It is very difficult to paint a wall in gold. Thus shades of yellow or bright yellow... is very subjective.

Purple, pink and red are usually associated with the Fire element.

As mentioned above, purple, red and pink are related to the fire element.

Hi Cecil,

I would like to know whether a matte bronze coated aluminium object is considered as metal or wood as the color is slightly lighter or near to Brown. Thanks

Regards

Alex

A comprehensive perspective involves examining the object in its entirety, rather than focusing solely on its color.

For instance, if the object takes the form of a pyramid, its shape is associated with the Fire element.

Thanks Cecil,

If based on your previously posted image, it be safe to assume that a round matte bronze coloured round object represents metal?

In the absence of a photo or image, the description indicating that it is round and has a matte bronze color is likely interpreted as referring to a metal component.
