myfs_51416
HelloI am building a house and have a couple considerations I'm seeking advice on. First as you enter the main part of the house from the mud room, you are in direct line with the oven in the kitchen that is directly in front of you on the other side of the house, enter on north side, oven on south wall. Is this a problem.Second, we have both toilets in the house in the north east corner of the house, please advice. Third. the stair case in the house is near being in the middle of the house, being more northerly than direct center. Main level to upstairs is near center of house. Main level to basement is near north east area of house. thanksDavid
Staff Cecil Lee Posted February 15, 2001 Staff Share Posted February 15, 2001 Dear David,Please see below:- Quote On 2/14/01 9:50:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:HelloI am building a house and havea couple considerations I'mseeking advice on. Is this aproblem. Ideally, more importance is placed on the placement of the stove. The placement of the oven takes second priority. If the kitchen is at the South compass direction, it can still be considered facing `out' of the house i.e. towards the entrance. Can you confirm whether you meant the oven or the stove in the above. Quote Second, we have both toiletsin the house in the north eastcorner of the house, pleaseadvice. Frankly, there is nothing much one can do here since the toilets are the least moveable parts of the home.Third. the staircase in the house is nearbeing in the middle of thehouse, being more northerlythan direct center.
