We bought our house 6 months ago. It
was divided into a rooming house many,
many years ago. We will live in one side
and leave the pre-existing family on the
other. We do use same entrances and
have common laundry area and yard.
When we try and measure compass
direction, do we use center of whole
house, or just portion we live in?
also, as my husband and I earn about the
same amount, I wonder how to decide
which of us profile to use (the house face
direction East is better for him, 5/10/73,
but not so good for me 7/22/64)
Thank you - I love your user-friendly and
well-designed web site
Regards,
Norma Kelly

Dear Norma,
Since you are occupying only one side of the house, the centrepoint should be taken only on your side of the house.
As for the breadwinner, although both roughly earn the same salary, with regards to Feng Shui, usually, if this is the case, the `male' or your husband should be taken as the breadwinner.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
