myfs_55290
hi,i'm moving into an apartment in nyc which has several brick walls. we love the brick but want to know if we need to balance the brick with another element. also, is the brick more representative of earth or fire? it is old brick that was uncovered and cleaned so it is not bright red brick but aged.thanks! Staff Cecil Lee Posted March 19, 2001 Staff Share Posted March 19, 2001 Dear John,In my opinion, you can consider the (I believe) the beautiful brick facade as a decoration. It need not be `balanced' directly. You can try to make the apartment as cosy as possible to your taste. So far, I come across many homes with such beautiful facade and in my opinion do not pose any problems.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 3/19/01 1:11:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:hi,i'm moving into an apartmentin nyc which has several brickwalls. we love the brick butwant to know if we need tobalance the brick with anotherelement.also, is the brick morerepresentative of earth orfire? it is old brick that wasuncovered and cleaned so it isnot bright red brick but aged.thanks!
