myfs_58208
I am moving into a new bedroom in a small apartment. Because of my room mate I have to keep my desk with computer in my room. Part of the desk will have to align with the bed is there anything I can do to prevent poison arrows? The sink is in the bedroom, and a door to the bathroom will also be in close alignment with the bed Is there something I can do to prevent bad chi? The only other thing I have in my room (besides my bed) is a chest of drawers but although it appears harmless, it does have sharp corners is this a concern? Staff Cecil Lee Posted April 18, 2001 Staff Share Posted April 18, 2001 Dear Julia,Frankly, there is not much one can enhance in a small apartment.Where possible, try to make it as `cosy' as possible depending on the one's needs.Needs depend on:-Whether the apartment is used as a `haven' to return to after busy work schedule or used partially for sleep and study. The major principle of Yin and Yang can be applied in the room. Such as making the room more Yin (for good night rest) or semi-yin and yang (for study/relaxation or sleep). Please see below:- Quote On 4/16/01 10:36:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:I am moving into a new bedroomin asmall apartment. Realistically speaking, not much one can do here. Quote The sink is in the bedroom, and a door tothe bathroom will also be inclosealignment with the bed Istheresomething I can do to preventbad chi? It is good to close the bathroom door when not in use. If there is the luxury of a side table; one can place a lamp on it to serve as a symbolic `partition'. But may not be possible in your case. Quote The only other thing I have inmy room(besides my bed) is a chest ofdrawersbut although it appearsharmless, it doeshave sharp corners is this aconcern? Again, really not much one can do here. It is best not to have the sharp corner(s) aimed particularly directly - especially at the head / neck area. But again, it is best not to let it be aimed at other parts of the body. - Not much choice thou.Warmest Regards,Cecil
