myfs_60484
Dear Cecil,I'm planning to extend our master bedroom over the garage area. This will make our room area 50% over the garage. Any advise and actions should I take? Thank you.best regards,Jun
Staff Cecil Lee Posted May 14, 2001 Staff Share Posted May 14, 2001 Dear Jun,The two most important considerations are:1. Try to the entire room rectangular /square and not odd shaped. This includes the existing and new area.2. Avoid creating missing corners or sectors for the extension. It is best to have a top down view of the property to ensure that the house is not odd shaped.3. If the house has a profile of a head i.e. head jutting out of the home, avoid making the `head' of the house heavy! An illustration of an auspicious house becoming inauspicious due to a heavy `head' is as follows:-http://www.geomancy.net/fs/grandpa1.htmIf one makes the head of the house heavy, it is very inauspicious and can result in death of the breadwinner.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 5/14/01 8:51:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:Dear Cecil,I'm planning to extend ourmaster bedroom over the garagearea.
