myfs_51333
Hi,My best position to place my bed is NE. However, if I do that, the head of the bed will be against my window. My next best position is in the direction of West. To place my bed in that position will render lesser space to walk about. Is it possible to place the bed such that when I wake up, I will be facing NE direction? This will enable me to place my bed in a corner and my feet pointing towards my windows. I have a curtains which I will draw it up every nite before I sleep. Please advise.Regards,NN
Staff Cecil Lee Posted May 24, 2001 Staff Share Posted May 24, 2001 Dear Tulip,1. In my opinion, the most important thing to do is to make sure that the position of the bed conforms firstly to Shapes and Form Feng Shui.2. This is where, the bed should preferably not be placed on the same wall as the bed.3. Preferably, the bed sould be on the opposite wall as the bedroom door. 4. It should not be on the same wall as the toilet bowl.5. The placement of bed to `conform' to the Eight House Theory should be of SECONDARY importance ONLY after Shapes and Form Feng Shui has been taken into consideration.6. One should avoid placing the bed at odd angles such as e.g. at a 45 degree angle leaving a triangle `hollow' at the back of the bedroom or place it as `an island' in the bedroom.7. Where possible, consideration should be given to the bed avoiding `beams' above it.8. Usually, if one has the `luxury' such information as to the suitability of the bed should first be considered before buying a house. For those who have bought their houses or had no prior knowledge of the suitable positions; may not be able to do much in this area.In order to make it good under Eight House, this must never; never be offset against bad Shapes and Form placement which comes first.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 5/22/01 1:52:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:Hi,My best position to place mybed is NE.
