valuenews
Hi,I'm in the process of getting a new landed property..get to come across house with 2 Storey. Where the design is the 2nd level toliets, 1 is directly on top of the front door/entrance of the 1st level and another one is directly on top of the kitchen..Kind of puzzle if this is a bad fengshui design? To my instinct I feel that toliets @ 2nd level should place on top of store room or another toliet for those 2 storey houses.. Not sure if it's right need to seek for your advise. In additional, it's also important of the positioning of it isn't it?But not sure what's the position should be?Understand that it may need to follow the owner's or breadwinner flying star chart. What if both husband and wife is working and (breadwinner) and is also the owner. And both chart are totally opposite of each other (which means good for one, may be bad for the other) Whose chart shall we follow?Pls advise. Thanks
Staff Cecil Lee Posted June 11, 2001 Staff Share Posted June 11, 2001 Dear Jing Jin,Yes, I have encountered the toilet bowl immediately above the main entrance door of several terrace houses in Singapore last year. One estate is in Coporation Drive, Jurong.I have advised the owner to seal up the toilet bowl. He has agreed since there are sufficent toilets in the home. I personally feel that the above is `bad feng shui'. - Based on Shapes and Form School. Please see below:- Quote On 6/11/01 1:49:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:Hi,I'm in the process of gettinga new landed property..get tocome across house with 2Storey. I agree with you. Quote In additional, it's alsoimportant of the positioningof it isn't it?But not sure what's theposition should be? Ideally, it would be best to have the toilet outside of the home *JOKE* This happened in the past. But we have to be realistic today. So long as the toilet occupies 1 external wall; this would be good and as you mentioned, preferably, it should be above e.g. another toilet or storeroom and not the dinning room or bedroom etc... Please note that the Flying Star chart should take into account the breadwinner's Gua.While other rooms and especially bedroooms should take into consideration the Gua (Kua) number of each family members. For the master bedroom or the living /dinning area or most of the other parts of the house; the binding element of both partners would be good.Warmest Regards,Cecil
