Hello Cecil,
I understand that the back of the house is the tortoise and that it is
considered bad to have a waterway in the back of the house but I was
thinking of putting a pond in the right corner of the house along the back
fence and am thinking of putting the 3 turtle figure on top of the stones
with koi in it. It will be in the backyard, far right corner. The turtle
has two smaller baby turtle piggyback on the big one. Please advise if
this is a bad idea. Thank You.

Dear Stephanie,
If you have to; it is better to place the pond at the corner (instead of directly behind the house).
Please see below:-

It would be better to have a landscaped pond where the back is supported by a `mountain' e.g. a mound where water flows down from this mound.

This looks OK.
