myfs_66606
Dear Cecil,I dont know who answers questions on Feng Shui here, because Im new. But I have a simple question. South is North on the Chinese compass. East is west, and so on. My question is, when your reading the Pa Kua, and say for example that you want to increase your wealth corner of the hourse; Geographically, are we activating the Southeastern corner according to the Pa Kua, or the Northwestern coerner according to the compass?? Im confused about this. Please write back. Thank you,Michael
Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 29, 2001 Staff Share Posted July 29, 2001 Dear Michael,In my opinion, many Feng Shui authors or websites have factored in the `true compass direction'.For example, in this website, all compass directions mentioned are based on `true' compass readings i.e. from an ordinary compass. What is `North - zero degrees' is North and what is `South - 180 degrees' is true South.Overall, if one is trying to follow a concept from a website or a book author, it is best to `read' or understand the author's concept totally. From start to end.And not read a certain concept from one site and piece it with another information from other sites. For this website, I like to confirm that all interpretations and analysis is based on the easy to use North - South direction and is meant for everyone who uses an ordinary compass.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 7/28/2001 9:04:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:Dear Cecil,I dont know who answersquestions on Feng Shui here, because Im new.
