myfs_67943
We just bought a house and was thinking of using the empty space in front of the Staircase(West) as a bar (East). I'm not sure if this is advisable and if not could we use a Windchime to deflect any Sar Chi.Thanks for your advice.
Staff Cecil Lee Posted August 20, 2001 Staff Share Posted August 20, 2001 Dear Siew Foong,The following need to be considered:-1. Does the Qi flow from the front e.g. window or main door and exits directly at the back?If so, it would be good to place a partition or screen to manipulate the Qi flow to allow it to meander slowly in the house. The above is one of the considerations for doing `interior' decoration in the home.2. Under Flying Star Feng ShuiThe following items are looked at:-2.1 What type of material is one using for the bar counter? Or materials e.g. glass/wine etc...Here, Flyings Star analysis is usually done to check on any imbalances at a sector. For example, if the sector in question is one where we should avoid adding `wood' element, it would not be auspicious to place a wooden bar counter. Glassware, in many instances are considered " earth elements ".It is best to use investigative tools like the Flying Star to check out each sector for any imbalances and try to cure them. Without unwantingly increasing the imbalance using the wrong material/items.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 8/16/2001 8:47:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:We just bought a house and wasthinking of using the emptyspace in front of theStaircase(West) as a bar(East).
