myfs_69907
Sorry for the previous "blank" post. I'm new on this board. Here is my query. I have an overwhelming desire to learn all I can about Feng Shui (traditional vs. Black Hat - and I have a whole bunch of questions about THAT, but I'll save them for another time), and to become a Feng Shui Consultant in my immediate area. Two "problems" exist: 1) I am on limited funds because 2) I am "disabled" (I like to call it "challenged") with a "permanently" broken neck, exist on "disability" income AND cannot afford, NOR can travel to any Feng Shui schools. Is it possible to become a consultant by taking online courses? I see the course here and I am thrilled to see the price AND the curriculum. There are 3 others I am looking into: 1 by Master Yu, 1 by Master Larry Sang and the third by Joey Yap (the latter is Flying Stars and looks EXTREMELY complex for a beginner).Actually, I plan to take all three, and now my next question is: Out of all the courses I have mentioned, would you think that the one offered at this site would be the best to at least get my feet wet? And don't forget my previous question as to the possibility of becomming a consultant with much online study.Thank you so much for your responses. I'm thrilled to have found y'all.Deb
Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 14, 2001 Staff Share Posted September 14, 2001 Dear Deborah,1. Apologies for the late response to your plight. At this moment due to the attack on USA; I am equally sadden and at the moment; going thru CNN news etc.. and thus.. for the last few days.. and perhaps was quite "engrossed with" the tragedy and number of lifes lost.. and coming to terms with it. As many of my friends reside in the US - and emails to find out if they are OK especially in New York.2. Welcome to this forum.3. Please e-mail robert-lee@3dmail.com so that we can provide you with a free (paid course) on our Certificate in Applied Feng Shui.4. My Flying Star course will be up by early October 2001 and you can participate in it.5. To be totally honest, it would be unprofessional for me to comment on courses offered by other practitioners so; would not touch on it.6. In my opinion, I always belief that one should never be `myopic' or have a tunnel vision and if one can take as many courses; it would be great.7. I have mentioned previously that in the past; `Great Feng Shui Masters' learn their trade from `books' rather than information passed down from early generations. One rationale is that most human beings; may not want to give up their secrets so willingly; even if some do so; the next generation may not do the same. Thus; most of the great Chinese Masters; learnt from anicent books and the key is: to apply what is relevant and useful.I welcome you to my Feng Shui course and do take care of your health.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 9/10/2001 7:46:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:Sorry for the previous "blank"post.
