stevena
I live in a 100 year old brick converted warehouse. The building ( along with my living room ) faces North. To enter the loft I come up the elevator ( which runs thru my living space) enter into a small lobby and enter into the living room thru a south facing door. The rest of the living space is an additional 3000 square feet that runs out of the living room into the kitchen, dining room, TV room, bathrooms, work room and bedrooms etc that is actually South of the main enterance door. The loft feels like North facing since all of the living room windows are facing North, all of the rest of the rooms are in the South part of the building - 130 feet south of the living room. I come into the living room from the South, can stay there or head South again to the rest of the living space. Which way should I be considering the loft faces - North or South - my feeling is North - although I do come in from the South - but I have to go to the Northern part of the loft from the southern part then go back out the south facing door to get out - confused - I am! Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 23, 2001 Staff Share Posted September 23, 2001 Dear StevenIn reality, one should consider the entrance towards the home even if the frontage seems to be the North. At your `second' level, the entrance to your home should be the location of the door. In my opinion, it should still be South.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 9/19/2001 2:43:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:I live in a 100 year old brickconverted warehouse.
