I have a king size bed and there is not much room to move my bed. The black ceiling fan with 5 blade and some gold strip is right above me and I see it everytime when I lie on my bed and the fan is in the middle of the room.
I heard that it no good to have something black over your head such as a black roof. Is black ceiling fan ok? Is it okay to change to some other color like white?
Another question is what element does the colour purple belongs to? The top part of all four wall of my master bedroom has colour purple, is that ok too?
Thanks.

For the Chinese, it is preferable that the ceiling fan where possible is not black. White or gold is fine.
Do you find it uncomfortable? If so, you may like to change it.

Purple represents the Fire element and it would normally depend on your Ba Zi. For a room, unless one has a need for the `Fire element' e.g. if a person is a weak wood person and staying in the room, can use the `Fire' element to help his/her weak wood to grow.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
