Hello Celia,
My house floor plan is rectangular in shape.
My main door is facing east but location northeast. Does my Main Door is a East direction door or Northeast direction? In fengshui does it have difference analysis.
Secondly if i have a single seat sofa and move it to put a bed to sleep on the same location, does it has bad fengshui? Thank in advance.

2. If your floor plan is rectangular in shape, you should try standing at the centrepoint of the house and from there take the direction of the main entrance door.
3. If I read what you wrote correctly, and if you were to follow what I mentioned under
Para 2. In this case I understand that the main door that you mentioned perhaps should be considered at North-east and not East.
Alternatively you can use this as reference:-

In my opinion, there should not be an issue in replacing the single seat sofa with a bed.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
