maxrosen
Cecil, I read your reply to another reader regarding having a highway located behind the house ... and you advice her to find another place.I am looking for a piece of property to build my office and I have found one alongside a major highway (lots of high profile corporations are neighbors there too).Should I look somewhere? or it's different story for a business building? Thank you again for your help!!!
Staff Cecil Lee Posted January 22, 2002 Staff Share Posted January 22, 2002 Dear Rosen,1. Do you have a sketch (even a simple outline) will do of your plot of land in relation to the highway and the `enclave' of e.g. teh business district.2. Describe, what is at the frontage, back and both sides of your plot of land:-2.1. In general what is the road that leads into your building.2.2. What are the height of the neighbouring buildings.2.3 Is this an industrial (manufacturing) or business (commercial area) and are the neighbours (manufacturing or commercial).3. Usually if your plot of land is `enclosed' within a district meant for business; it does not imply the same as what I mentioned earlier i.e. the residential area.Apologise for asking so many questions.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 1/22/2002 5:11:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:Cecil, I read your reply toanother readerregarding having a highwaylocatedbehind the house ... and youadvice her tofind another place.I am looking for a piece ofproperty tobuild my office and I havefound onealongside a major highway(lots of highprofile corporations areneighbors theretoo).Should I look somewhere? orit's differentstory for a business building?Thank youagain for your help!!!
