I have afew more questions:1) Is the direction for mybedrooms related to the housecenter? Example, my masterbedroom is located in thesouthwest sector of the houseand my master bathroom islocated in the south sector ofthe house. Can I assume thatmy master bedroom facessouthwest and my masterbathroom faces south? Yes. From the centre-point of your house and with the use of an ordinary compass, if your master bedroom face south-west then this should be correct. Or if the compass showsthat your bathroom is at south direction then this is correct. Quote 2) The master bedroom isright above 1/3 portion of thegarage. Is that bad andwhat's the cure? There is no cure for this. Please refer to a recent message that I had replied to on this samesubject. Actually one can do a SEARCH in the forum for key words like " Kitchen " and the following will show up:--- Start --Topic: Cures for Bedroom Over Garage? I am glad that you found the resources onn this website useful.Yes, in many instances, some of the more `modern' Feng Shui concepts use commonsense approach. For example, a bedroom above the garage is quite similar to the concept of the bedroom above the kitchen (in some ways):1. It is similar because, it was felt that in case a vehicle `caught fire' the flames would rise into the bedroom. As we all know, unless it is a deliberate attempt or arson; the chance of a stationary vehicle catching fire is rare. 2. Concept that there is empty space below e.g. the master bedroom. With modern construction methods and properly supervised stage(s) of construction; assuming that the house has been properly certified by a competent consultant to ensure that it can withstand the normal weight of loading on the columns; there should no longer be an issue of such a structure ever collapsing. If the above are addressed properly, I feel that this should be fine. Although in the Flying Star Theory for Highrise building; each level is said to have a different influence of Qi. For those who are interested to find out what is the significance of your flat or apartment on the different levels; feel free to use the Free Flying Star Highrise Building report at http://www.geomancy-online.comWarmest Regards,Cecil Quote I was talking about Feng Shuiwith a friend of mine and Ipointed out to him that hismasterbedroom above his garageis not considered good FengShui. I don't remember theexact reason why it isnegative but I thought it hadsomething to do with not beingon a stable foundation. Ifthat is the logic, wouldn'thaving a masterbedroom on anylevel of a house other thanthe first level not be good? Also, would there be a curefor such a situation? I don'tknow the severity of this butI'm sure it's not as bad asliving at a T or End of aStreet. -- End -- Back to your question:- Quote 3) The master bathroom'stoilet is right above thefront door (which sits in theSouth "spook" sector and mygua number is seven). I knowthis is bad, but what is thecure for this?4) My prosperity sector isnorthwest and it's right inthe middle of the 1/2 bath(downstairs) and 2nd full bath(upstairs). My finances seemgoing downhill lately.Besides closing the toiletdoors, is there anything elseI can do to fix this problem? In several recent messages, I recommend those who are interested to apply Feng Shui to use a Three-step approach:-Step 1: What is the aim or purpose of the concept and theory;Step 2: What is it's strength;Step 3: What is it's weakness; It is useful to use the Eight House Theory e.g. to find a new house and where possible choose houses that are suitableto the person or their family. Otherwise, once one had already bought or lived in a house, there is not much one cando if the various sectors are inauspicious to spent time at.I also mentioned that each specific concept or theory can only do so much. Up to what it specifies. For example, if one has a large family but bought a small saloon car. How can we then expect this small saloon car to beable to accomodate e.g. a family of 7 persons? Even if one wants to squeeze all family members in this small saloon car;this is impossible! Even if one tie them on the roof or shaft them into the small boot. Therefore, how can this be? How can we ever do such things? Impossible. We therefore have to be realistic as to the expectations of each concept or theory. Quote 5) According to shape andform FS, the staircase shouldnot be in the center of thehouse. Well, mine is right inthe center of my house. Whatcan I do to fix this?Relocate the stairs is out ofquestion. There is not much one can do as a fix. It is like the toilet at the centre-point. The only recourse is to move e.g. thetoilet. Usually, the ideal situation is where the stairs is at the side of the house and it has a few turns. Quote 6) Outside, my front doordirectly faces a big tree. What should I do? I cannotcut the tree down because it'snot mine. Again, other than chopping down the tree, really or frankly - nothing much can be done here other than make a complaintif the tree is not trimmed. Quote 7) Inside, my front doordirectly faces a big window.I have placed a big palm treein front of the window. Thisarea, by the way, is my livingroom (which is in the East"death" sector). I have a bigBLACK lacquer screen made outof wood. Would this big BLACKlacquer screen be appropriateto place between the door andwindow? Apologies, but I am trying to figure out what is your rationale for thinking that a window can be a poison arrow towards your main entrance door. Usually, I understand if the poison arrow is e.g. a pointed corner of a neighbour's house or roof. But I am not too clear about the door and window. Appreciate if you can elaborate, if I truly missed the point. Also in this area isa big brick fireplace. Sincewood (East sector) is inconflict with Brick (earth),what can I do to cure this ifit is a problem? Frankly, it is good to understand the Three-Step approach or Step 1, 2 and 3; I had elaborated earlier about any concept. What you had mentioned is too general to be of use as a `cure'. For example East = wood; North = water etc... Here, this is too general a concept and not personalised to everyone. For example, it is like trying to enhance the interior of the house;where all the external of the house is (for e.g.) crumbling or leaking.Fix the leak:-Here are a few guidelines. Again, it is best to try to note the Three Step approach. Such as what is the purpose or aim of each concept/theory...Usually, the best method to fix `leaks' are:-1. Flying Star Chart - the `clue' here is that it is used to look at the BIRTH CHART of the house and CURE it.2. Pillars of Destiny Personal chart - it determines one's ELEMENT and STRENGTH. And can be used to ENHANCE a person. From the above, we can see that when many of us talk about CURE(S); we are looking at the wrong theory i.e. Eight House and assume that there is acure for it. Did we look else where? Since Flying Star Chart looks at the birth chart of the house - it can be used to cure the house.Personally, I often, refer to the Three-Step approach when replying to questions on this forum. It certainly help me to remain focused in particular what one concept or theorycan or cannot do. Quote 8) last but not least, do youever go to the USA forconsultation? Yes, currently only on special invitations or private visits to clients for specific audits e.g. developers developing a new building. For those who can help to organise a group session e.g. course in their country, can check with me.Warmest Regards,Cecil
