Staff Cecil Lee Posted February 7, 2002 Staff Share Posted February 7, 2002 Dear Marinella,If your birthday is on 12 February 2002, this is the start of a a new (full) moon. The start of Chinese New Year (12 February 2002) is always considered an auspicious date. And if your birthday falls on this date, you can expect your birthday to be the most widely celebrated occassion by the world's largest population of approximately over 5 billion in China and by many overseas Chinese all over the world. For the Chinese, since 12 February 2002 is the first day of a new moon (full moon); do you know that our Chinese New Year is considered as a total of 15 days from 12 February 2002. This coincide with a total of 15 days of the rotation of the moon around the sun. Many of us (overseas) Chinese in predominantly Chinese populated countries e.g. Singapore will have official public holidays on Tuesday & Wednesday (12 February & 13 February 2002).Many traditional Chinese companies that can afford to close their offices for business for many days. However, the tradition for office opening is:-If a business wants to open business on the THIRD day of Chinese New Year e.g. 14th February 2002; traditional Chinese businessmen would go to their office on early morning of 13th Februray 2002 to `open' their office. They can then start work on 14th February or the THRID day of Chinese New Year.If a business wants to open business on the FOURTH day of Chinese New Year or 15th Feburary 2002, they can go ahead to open their business on that day.Wishing you a Prosperous & Happy Birthday!(in advance!)Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 2/6/2002 11:04:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:Greetings,My birthday falls on theChinses New year this 2002.Does this have any specialmeaning for me? myfs_45864
Dear Mr. Lee,Thank you very much for letting me know that my birthday is an auspicious one. I am not Chinese but I do look forward to the prosperity the year shall bring. However, you did not give me answers on my other queries such as what I need to do to ensure good luck. I would appreciate it very much if you could give some advise on this. I shall consider this your birthday gift to me.I manage a commercial property and I am having much difficulty leasing the spaces it to tenants. What work orientation can you advise me to consider to reverse this. It has been this way for over six months now. Again thank you very much I and I look forward to hearing from you.My warmest regards
Staff Cecil Lee Posted February 8, 2002 Staff Share Posted February 8, 2002 Dear Marinella,For the work orientation of office table, you can use the Free report: " Work position Report " at http://www.geomancy-online.com to check which is the best favourable direction of your office table. (To help best position your table). However, do take note that in the application of Feng Shui, there are lots more rulesets that need to be considered. For example, I feel that it is more important to give first priority to position of the work-top based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui.If you using the Eight House Theory, it is best also to generate the Free Eight House report to see which room is best for you. Under the Eight House Theory, this is of primary importance and the favourable position of your work-top comes next to this concept.Wishing you an advance HAPPY BIRTHDAY! And to Happiness, Health & Prosperity!Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 2/8/2002 3:09:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:Dear Mr. Lee,Thank you very much forletting me know that mybirthday is an auspicious one.I am not Chinese but I do lookforward to the prosperity theyear shall bring.
