myfs_78389
Could you comment on the effect of glass walls in an office setting? Our company moved one year ago to a suite where (a) the front door faces a glass wall, which views into the conference room (b) all 4 management offices have glass entry walls and doors. The simple result of this structure: no privacy.A more complex result seems to be that chaotic energy prevails. We seem to be involved now in many projects that constantly change or get cancelled after much effort. The work requirements now seem to be very rushed and too much is happening too fast!I am a beginner in Feng Shui learning, and would like to know which elements might help us counteract the effects of all this glass, to bring some calm to our work.Thank you. Staff Cecil Lee Posted February 14, 2002 Staff Share Posted February 14, 2002 Dear Kathleen,Yes, too much light e.g. from glass walls have a negative effect. As it creates too much `Yang energy'. Unlike normal walls that can absord some of the `yang energy'; too much glass relects and bounce light causing an unbalanced effect.Ideally, renovation should be done to correct this. If this is not possible, then plants can be used to counter or absorb some of it. But if the panels of glass covers a large area, more plants may be needed (and this may not be feasible). Alternatively, one may have to consider hanging posters or painting on each side of the wall to neutralise the dispersion of light. (The ideal situation is to renovation as mentioned earlier).Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 2/9/2002 12:02:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:Could you comment on theeffect of glass walls in anoffice setting?
