myfs_78972
there is a ceiling beam dividing my marital bed. It's a rented apt and the size of the room does not allow for furniture to be shifted around. Is there anything that can be done to deflect the negative chi without any renovation? Staff Cecil Lee Posted February 20, 2002 Staff Share Posted February 20, 2002 Dear Anon,1. If it is a concrete beam then use two wooden bamboo flutes:-http://www.geomancy.net/mypictures/cgi-bin/mypictures.cgi?img=0&search=bamboo&cat=Feng_Shui_Cures&bool=and&x=11&y=172. Place the bamboo flute on any side of the concrete beam.3. If it is a wooden beam (usually if it is less than 3 inches (width) by 6 inches -- there is really not much issue or the supression of Qi is in my opinion minimal. Otherwise, for concrete beam - metal element should be used instead.Warmest Regards,Cecil Lee Quote On 2/19/2002 10:32:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:there is a ceiling beamdividing my marital bed.
