myfs_79560
Dear Cecil,I am looking to pick a lot for my new house. I am KEN person and there are 2 lots I am interested, but don't know which one to pick.Lot 1Face NE, which is very good for me, since i am a KEN person, but the problem is that the lost is very small and back to another house (only 20 FT), there is another house on the right (about 20 Ft away), main street on the left and street go to the subdivision on the front.Lot 2Face SW, which is okay for me. The back of the house is on a slop so you have a walk-out basement. There are trees on the back left of the house. Don't know if that help the slop? On the right there is another house (about 20 Ft away). On the left of the house, (here is the problem) about 30 ft away is the street, but there is a retaining wall below the street, to help water flow down on the right path down the slop . The retaining wall look like this.Street_________________/ Wall Tree here| Tree here\ Tree hereSlopping down ----> ________________________| House || || || || ||_______________________|Thank you so much for your advise. Please let me know which one to pickBoss
Staff Cecil Lee Posted March 5, 2002 Staff Share Posted March 5, 2002 Dear Boss Peng,1. It is very difficult for me to give a fair assessment based on general descriptions. However, I would not be too keen to recommend a house with a house on a slop as mentioned below ie. Lot 2.2. There is a recent case here, where a user wrote in to say that the house which he had moved in recently was inauspicious. The house is worse than what you had mentioned. (Far worse). In fact, the house has a layer the ground level that is slopping downwards. Much like a `patch'. He had emailed me privately with a photo of the house. However, I did not get permission from him to show. Overall, it is best to consider the overall Shapes and Forms as top priority even if the house is suitable to a person. In my opinion, and in general, `Lot 1' sounds or seems to have better Shapes and Form Feng Shui.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 3/4/2002 8:58:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:Dear Cecil,I am looking to pick a lot formy new house. Staff Cecil Lee Posted March 5, 2002 Staff Share Posted March 5, 2002 Dear Boss Peng,Thanks for the site/lot map. I now have better picture of the lot.In my opinion, this plot `lot 2' is not favourable since, it is downward sloping behind the plot of land and also between the North-West location. If the slope is not properly redressed, usual problem would be the result of financial problems for the breadwinner. If you can try to forgo this plot i.e. lot 2. As I find it inauspicious.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 3/5/2002 9:07:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:Thank you so much for youradvice, I have attached apictures of the lot map. Please let me know what youthink about the wall and theslop down in the back of thehouse. Thanks again,Boss
