My new home is a virtual Feng Shui nightmare!
I am moving into a large apartment complex at the end of this month, and I have noticed several very troubling things about the layout and surrounding areas.
The address is 6171 and the apartment number is 1226. The front door faces due South and is the ONLY thing in the relationship area. The bathroom is in the center of the apartment and the apartment is all but missing a creativity/children area. My DOB is 11-11-1981, and I have a daughter (b. 21 July 2001). Her room faces North in the wisdom/education area and is directly to the West of a balcony. The back of the apartment faces a small stream/wooded area and slopes sharply downward. My front door opens directly underneath a staircase, and there are only 3 windows in the apartment (one of which is a large glass door going onto the balcony). One window faces South, the other 2 North.
What can I do to improve this space? I am especially concerned about the Relationship area. Is it bad to have your front door in this area? Unfortunately, there is not a back or side door that I can use as a main entrance.
Thank you so much for your time, and I hope I gave you enough information.

In my opinion, it is best not to apply "Sector concepts" as this is too general.
For the bathroom in the center of the apartment, is a concern. There is not much that can be done here. If it is feasible, not to use it or keep it bright and dry.

Where possible, since this is a building, there should be a `retaining' or fence. And later on, plants or bushes can help.

In my opinion, I would not be too concerned with the `Relationship area'. The staircase over the main entrance is acceptable. So long it is not a toilet - which is inauspicious. There should not be any problem using the main entrance door.
Overall, you may consider checking out using the Free Eight House Report to check on how suitable the house is to you and what intangible force influence in the various bedrooms for various persons staying in the house.
If there is a toilet at the center, I would sincerely recommend that you can do a audit of the birth chart i.e. using Flying Star Feng Shui. Here, it is favoured because, it can help to neutralise any bad or inauspcious sector of the house and make the house more favourable for you and your family.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
