Water fountain

My house is facing SouthEast and I was thinking that I would like to place a fountain facing the house. Is this a good idea?

Dear Anon,
Considerations when installing a fountain:-
1. A small fountain, may have to be considered as merely a decorative item.
2. A fountain should where possible, have water that splurt in and not allow water to splurt or flow out. In the earlier situation, water should be able to in.

In the above typical illustration:-
1. One will find that `water flows in' to a wealth or centre.
2. If one looks carefully, at the picture of the world's largest fountain i.e. Suntec City, Singapore:-
2.1 One will notice the huge metal ring which is also symbolised by a circle (where circle represents) metal element.

One will notice a two-cycle event:
metal -> water are in a productive cycle.
Thus, water using the metal ring as a conduit has a harmonous combination of metal with water.
3. From the above example, we can learn that:
3.1 the rationale why a house e.g. with a double 7's at the frontage can take advantage of water to activate `wealth'.
For example, under the Flying Star Feng Shui, 7 or 6 represents metal element. And sectors that have 7s or 6s or even double 7s or a combination of 7s or 6s can be activated with water element. This is especially true ONLY if these are areas such as the living room or the frontage of the house.
4. The result of such sectors e.g. metal sectors reacting with water (induced thru fountains etc...) are good combinations.
5. Overall, if the Flying Star Feng Shui is not used, then one may have to rely soley on Shapes and Form Feng Shui and Ba Zi:-
5.1 As per your question, without much reference to Shapes and Forms, one may have to use `trial and error' Feng Shui. If one is applying Shapes and Forms, then the natural positions are those at the living room area or areas that have or would require clear space especially the frontage of the house.
5.2 If one has a garden at the frontage of the house, this would be a much preferred location for a fountain.
5.3 As mentioned earlier, a tiny fountain can only be considered as `play play' or `peanuts Feng Shui'. It can be considered merely as just decorative piece.
5.4 A fountain should have the vibrancy or sounds can induce favourable Qi. And as a result create more negative ions that are favourable. A small tiny fountain may not have this type of vibrancy.
5.6 As a result, usually, a building or a condominum may want to induce such an effect e.g. having a fountain etc.. or a swimming pool with water flows etc.. And in such a situation, if one has such an advantage, it does not really benefit a person to place a `tiny' fountain in their home.
6. Overall, one should seriously consider one's Ba Zi before applying water in the house. For example, water would not be good for a person or the breadwinner if he/she is a `weak fire' or `strong water' element person.
For a `weak fire' person, water will further extinguish his/her weak fire person. While water for a strong water element person is not favoured. As a strong water person should have more balance or reduced water.
