Staff Cecil Lee Posted April 4, 2002 Staff Share Posted April 4, 2002 Dear All,1. You may ask the question: Say again? What you mean by " THE BUTTERFLY? "2. In this example, I share with you an inauspicious layout plan known as " The Butterfly ".3. For the Chinese, The Butterfly signifies ' short-life '. Here, it is important to know that a butterfly does not live long.4. Thus, a butterfly shape is indeed an inauspicious Feng Shui building shape. As it's significance, short-life is really not good. What we care for is long life.5. There is another reason for this. Many of the layout plans in a butterfly layout design does not fully utilise space.6. Enclosed please find the attachment where one can clearly see what a butterfly shaped building looked like.7. And you also get to see a sample layout. In the sample layout, you will notice that the toilets are inauspicious sectors. Please see attached illustrations.8. In a future installment, I will append to this message another `butterfly layout' which is equally worse-off! In this particular layout, poison arrows are aimed at the living and dining room. And the toilet is also at the centre-point of the house.Warmest Regards,Cecil
Staff Cecil Lee Posted April 8, 2002 Staff Share Posted April 8, 2002 Dear All,1. In this installment, you will find another "butterfly" building shape with a different layout plan.2. This layout is inauspicious because:-2.1 The toilet is close to the centre-point of the house.2.2 Major poison arrows within the house:-- In the illustration, you will find a poison arrow or the corner of bathroom TWO (2) aimed at the living room. This is inauspicious as it creates disharmony of the family members staying in the house.- In the illustration, you will also find that if the kitche door is opened, there is another poison arrow aimed at the dinning room area. Here, this is not so bad as the dining table can be shifted. However, it is not practical to close the kitchen door all the time. (But closing it will be able to neutralise this poison arrow).3. Overall, if you can, avoid buying this type of layout plan as mentioned in the earlier posting:3.1 Butterflys do not live long.3.2 Because of this layout plan with major missing corners and toilet close to the centrepoint; the characteristics of this house is -- owners will be plagued with financial problems.Safest bet is -- unsure, not buy this type of layout.Warmest Regards,Cecil
Staff Cecil Lee Posted April 15, 2002 Staff Share Posted April 15, 2002 1. As mentioned earlier, a butterfly's life span is very short.2. Do you know how long it lives?3. Yes / No? In fact, on the average, a typical butterfly has a lifespan of only TWO WEEKs. (Yes, 2 short weeks or a fortnight). 4. Can u imagine that? This is why, butterfly buildings (SYMBOLICALLY) are not favoured in Feng Shui.Warmest Regards,Cecil
