Staff Cecil Lee Posted April 7, 2002 Staff Share Posted April 7, 2002 Dear Magdalene,1. Flying Star Feng ShuiFor your house that was built in 1917, check to see if there are any major renovations done after 1917. If there are major renovations done, then refer to this table:-http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-calendar.htmUnder the above link you can find the various Chinese calendar periods e.g.Period 5 house? From 1944 to 1963 orPeriod 6 house? From 1964 to 1983 orPeriod 7 house? From 1984 to 2003Thus for example, there was a major renovation done after 1917 and in the Year 1967, then the house birth chart has moved to what is called a Period 6 house. With this information, if you want to do a Flying Star Feng Shui you need to know the birth chart of your house. And at the same time, you need to find out how to take a compass reading with an ordinary compass from the centrepoint of the house to the main door. An illustration on how to take the compass reading is as shown below:-http://www.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-cecilcompass.htm2. Birth datesWith your birth dates, you can, if you want to use it to generate reports:-2.1 Eight House Report Questions like how suitable your house is to you/family members. Which room is most favourable or which direction is best.2.2 Individual Ba ZiFind out what is one's element e.g. Fire, Water etc...Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 4/5/2002 9:15:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:The year my house was builtwas 1917.
