Actually, all the calendar are theoritically correct. However, I do find the Lunar Calendar significantly more accurate. And it can be found in almost any calendar (which has western date and chinese date). So it is easier to determine Auspicious Time.
Several ways to determine an auspicious time.
1. Check the elements of the month, day, or minute. If it helps your element it is considered auspicious.
2. You can make use of the Flying Star or Xuan Kong Fei Xing to obtain auspicious time.
