dear cecil lee,
well, my question might have fallen in the too much information catagory. so, i've been moving my furniture around trying to put my husband and i in the best positions.
first, i was in error as to my sleeping position...i was in my best and my husband in two of his worst. obviuosly, he needs to be in better position because he makes the money.
here is the simplified question...how close do i have to be to the exact degrees on the compass? i tried to figure out the degrees on my 8 mansion chart and got lost. so i put the compass in the middle of the bedroom and worked from there. is that a correct way to use the compass?
thank you, kathy

Dear Kathy,
1. Priority is still to place the bed in the most favourable direction, first. Based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui.
2. Is it possible for you to `shield' your husband i.e. if the sector is not as favorable to him, you sleep closer to it, while your husband sleeps further away.
In my opinion, it is difficult to realistically try to focus on a location using exact compass degree. As there is fixed space within a bedroom.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil

Dear Kathy,
1. Frankly, it is better to place your bed in a good Shapes and Forms position.
2. Some examples of favourable/unfavourable bed positions can be seen under this url:-
http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-bedroom.htm
3. Many of us, do have `opposites'. And it is best that the person who has more auspicious influence sleep closer to that intangible force. While, the partner sleeps further away.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
