myfs_83513
I am a west person with Kua number 6 and my husband is an east person with Kua number 1. We are planning to build a new house, but all the directions that are good for me are bad for my husband. What is your suggestion? Should we choose the bedroom, sleeping and house direction according to my husband's good direction (the main breadwinner)?ThanksJasmine
Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 11, 2002 Staff Share Posted July 11, 2002 Dear Jasmine,Since you are plannint to build a new house, it would be crucial not to pay any attention to the Shapes and Forms of the house. In fact, when one build a new home, there are many Feng Shui considerations, not just based on Eight House. In many situations, it is good to have the main door face a good direction. Even if the door does not face a good direction, based on the layout, it can (in some instances) still be tilted to a good direction. It is prudent therefore, that one should not entirely base the layout planning on just the Eight House Theory.Internally, each room should preferably be as rectangular as possible.Other important considerations include where the location of the toilet(s) are. The staircase (for double storey) houses etc...Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 7/5/2002 10:35:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:I am a west person with Kuanumber 6 and my husband is aneast person with Kua number 1.We are planning to build a newhouse, but all the directionsthat are good for me are badfor my husband. myfs_83513
The house should face one of my husband's good direction or mine, since one of us is an east group and the other one is a west group person.ThanksJasmine
Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 14, 2002 Staff Share Posted July 14, 2002 Dear Jasmine,Ideally, it is good if the house can face good directions of both parties. But as you had mentioned, one person is the `East' house while the other is the `West' house."Unfortunately" in Feng Shui, there is a consideration: Who is the breadwinner? In traditional Feng Shui, (like almost everywhere in the world); the breadwinner is often assumed as the man of the house. Or the male figure.Even today, we still often consider the male (husband) as the breadwinner unless: the husband is not working or a house-maker. Or if the male's salary is far below that of the female. In the bedroom, even if one partner's sector is not so good, (if possible) the partner who has a better `intangible' force sleeps closer to this line. For example, if the bedroom is at the North sector, the husband can sleep close to this North sector, while shielding, the wife: who sleeps further from this sector.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 7/12/2002 10:48:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:The house should face one ofmy husband's good direction ormine, since one of us is aneast group and the other oneis a west group person.ThanksJasmine
