How does a bagua map work in a splitlevel house?
I enter on the first floor and go up three steps to tha next level. From there I need to go up 8 steps. From that level I go three steps to the next level.
From the first level I go down 8 steps to the next level and from there another three steps to the bottum level.
What is considered one level?

Dear Michael,
In your situation, it is best to consider mapping the house based on compass directions. Since, each area of the house has a specific compass direction.
Try to locate the centrepoint of the house. And using an ordinary compass, (standing at the center of the house) locate each area (with regard to whether it needs to go up or down) referenced to a specific compass direction.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil

Thank you Cecil for your response. I'm not sure what you mean.
How do I use a compas to locate the Bagua area's. I'm using "The Western guide to Feng Shui room fy room written by Terah Kathryn Collens. There is no referense using a compas to locate the Bagua areas. Is the center in the middle? Is there a reference book to use your methode?

Dear Michael,
In my opinion, Traditional Feng Shui Schools do not practise fixed Ba Gua template or `Black Hat Sect' Feng Shui.
Try to do a SEARCH in this forum for `Black Hat' and you can find out the answers why it is not applied here or by any other Traditional Feng Shui Schools.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
