myfs_87040
I am new to Feng Shui, so I'ld really appreciate your advice in the following matter. We would be moving into our new home in 2 weeks. It is a corner lot and the front door faces East,Garage is facing South and Back/kitchen Door opens toWest. I have 2 brick walkways one from garage and other from the front street as it is a corner lot.Can you tell me what should I do to get good Luck and happiness. 1. Should I hang some wind Chimes before we move. If so where and what kind with how many rods? Also, should I hang a red Wreath on Front door? 2. I am planning to get 2 lions on the walkway leading to front door, which is on east side, and also want to install lawn statue of 'Kwan-Yin' & 3-tier 56" Pagodain the front lawn. As I read that it is auspicious to install them in front lawn, but I am new to feng shui and not 100% sure. Can you please advice me if it is OK to do so, is it auspicious? Also, any other suggestion/advice for good chi for the new house would be appreciated. Your quick reply qould be appreciated as I have to make the decision to buy and install soon. Thanks in advance for your Advice.Regards,

Congratulations on your new home! Quote It is a corner lot and thefront door faces East,Garageis facing South andBack/kitchen Door opens toWest. Prior to making enhancements. This is usually the key success factor.Try to make sure that your main entrance door is protected. (Usually, there is no threats to the main entrance). But, there is no harm doing a `preventive audit'.Such as looking out of the main door and from all windows of the home. Check for poison arrows e.g. lamp posting slicing thru the main door or window(s) or other threats. Is there a direct path of `air flow' from the main door directly out at the opposite end? As mentioned, there is really no harm looking at `threats' or `weakness' of your home (if any). Quote Can you tell me what should Ido to get good Luck andhappiness.1. Should I hang some windChimes before we move. If sowhere and what kind with howmany rods? Also,The most common Feng Shui (authentic) cure in Feng Shui is a 6 rod hollow - metallic wind chime. Other than this, usually, each sector is analysed, prior to giving advise as to or not to use a wind chime. (Feng Shui audits involve a thorough look)If the above is not considered, than one may have to use one's intutition.should I hang a red Wreath onFront door? If this common place in your area/county/country, then this is fine. Quote 2. A pair of lion statues can be used. Most common is to use stone ones either white or granite. But they have to face out. They should also be in a proprotionate size (not too skinny looking). They should preferably tbe smiling as opposed to being fierce looking.Paragoda is genrally fine. As in the past, it is used in Feng Shui both to neutralise `bad vapours' or underground water. If it is also used or placed on a child'sstudy table - for scholaristic achievement. Searh for pagoda in this forum for more on it's placement. For a lawn statue of 'Kwan-Yin' hmmm.... frankly, this is not common place. Worse still if it is easily accessible by dogs. Imagine, a dog, bringing up its hind leg and peeing on the figurine....... Thanks inadvance for your Advice. There are many rulesets and it is difficult to let you know all in one go. Try to understand more about the strengths and weakness of each FS concept.
