Staff Cecil Lee Posted November 6, 2002 Staff Share Posted November 6, 2002 Dear Anon,It is best if, you can attach a picture. As, it is important to see the general area of the shop and surrounding to this area.Usually, it is usually not advisable to have shops (unless, they are very exclusive e.g. branded) that gives an exquisite feel.Common people usually try to avoid steps leading to shops as it may feel `unwelcoming'. In such a situation, in my opinion, it does not matter if a "hump" can help. It may inadvertently cause someone to trip. Usually business of such establishments may not be striving given the `unwelcome' effect.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 11/5/2002 9:17:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:Hi,If there are a few steps ofstaircase just in front of theshop, is it a bad thing likemoney will be rolled away?If yes, will constructing a"hump" on the floor in frontof the staircase help?(sketchbelow)_________| |__|__|__ Thanks
