myfs_88976
Is there lucky house number for a single house?? I notice house number has only being applied to apartments or high-rise buildings.? I am currently building a new house and the house address is 15223 - 48 Street.? Someone told me that my house number is acceptable but said 15227 - 48 Street is better for the next 20 years (2004-2023).? I really want to find out the truth about this but I can't seem to find anything on web about house number for single houses.? There is an opportunity for me to change my address from 15223 - 48 Street to one of the following (15221, 15225, 15227, or 15229).? Could you please tell me where I could learn more about this topic?? Finally, could you please tell me how would you weight the importance of a house number?? Is it something I should concern about? Thanks in advance for your advice!!? They will be greatly appreciated!!!!!
Staff Cecil Lee Posted January 14, 2003 Staff Share Posted January 14, 2003 Dear Anon,1. Usually those who can afford landed property especially in country, will find that house numbers so long as it does not sound dreadful is good enough.2. Homes or landed properties in Sinapore can easily costs: terrace houses between US$0.8 million to US$1.5 million. And bungalow or semi-detached, depending on location and sq. feet can fetch between US$1.5 million to US$4 million.3. We call house number - kachang puteh or this is a Malay word meaning peanuts " Feng Shui".4. Symbolism is very important in Chinese culture and sometimes number on the main gate is elevated e.g.:5. For example, if the house no. is 77, then on the gate the second digit (7) is raised higher.776. Numerology can be very subjective. It can either be via the sound of the numbers. For Chinese: Cantonese dialect group, who originates from Canton in China, and this is the majority dialect Hong Kong. Number 8 sounds like `fatt' or prosperity in Cantonese. Number 4 sounds like `say' or die in their language. Thus 444 is a bad number for them. For other race, e.g. some Englishmen is superstitious with the number 13. While others love it. So where to draw the line?Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 1/13/2003 7:40:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:Is there lucky house numberfor a singlehouse?? myfs_88976
Dear Master Cecil Lee,Thanks for your advice.? Sorry, I couldn't get back to you sooner my computer was down.? I just want to confirm that base on your reply, you said house number is "peanut" in feng shui.? So I should not be worry about the house number concerns?? I have been wondering about this issue for sometime now and thanks to your advice I think I should no longer worry about it, right?? Besides, changing the address does cause quite a bit of money and it is quite a lengthy & trouble process.Am I correct assume that the free "house number" program on your web site does not apply to single-house number?Once again thank-you Master Lee for your advice!!! Staff Cecil Lee Posted January 23, 2003 Staff Share Posted January 23, 2003 Dear Anon, Quote Besides, changing the addressdoescause quite a bit of money andit is quitea lengthy & trouble process. Yes, this is exactly the point. If you live in my country, there is no way one can change the name unless there is really a good reason that can convince my country. We all have to be practical when it comes to such things.Yes, as mentioned clearly in my earlier mail and for this report, we also clearly state so.We are all adults and it would be silly to kid ourselves of the facts.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 1/23/2003 12:33:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:Dear Master Cecil Lee,Thanks for your advice.?Sorry, I couldn'tget back to you sooner my computer was down.?
