This condo is a mid-medium sized condo with a total of 242 units with 2, 3, 4 and mansionettes. Because of it's close proximity to the Simei MRT, it commands a good price per sq ft. Price per sq ft for units in this condo can arrange between $540K to $630K psf depending on the level and size of apartment and view. My comments: 1. This developer of this condo also built the much dreaded symbollically joined U shape designed condo project called: Rivervale Crest Condominium. 2. It is good that Tropical Spring has an opening (please see attached picture) at the U configuration (fronting the main entrance) to allowing dragon qi to pass thru. 3. The first thing when one drives to the guard room is that there is an opening at the middle U of the condo. 4. This is good, in view that majority of the condo units are also symbollically joined together. 5. Perhaps, since this project is owned by a semi-government body, perhaps, their idea in my opinion, is to always maximize floor area to squeeze in as many people as possible. 6. Compared to Rivervale Cres condo which has twice as many units (450 for Rivervale Cres) while this one has 242 units nearly 40 plus percent lower no. of units, augurs well for this development. 7. The only thing I do not like about some of the units close to the parallel MRT track is that units that are directly next to the MRT track can be rather noisy. 8. Inside the unit, you can literally hear the rumble each time a MRT train passes thru from each direction! 9. Otherwise, this condo is in a protective horse-shoe design and OK. 10. One lesson here is that, even for all developers, they may occassionally build not so good developments but at other times, quite ok ones. We therefore, cannot stick a label to any developer on whether how good or bad their development is. However, so far, none can beat Hong Leong's The Tropica condominium, located at Bedok Reservoir area: in this type of layout configuration, recently. Warmest Regards, Cecil PS.
