myfs_88310
Dear Cecil:I try to use a compass to determine the direction of my house.I have a car garage attached to my house. Should I include the car garage when I locate the center of my house? My "main" house is in a rectangular shape. I run into this problem if I consider the car garage as part of the house -- the house would be wider (in width) if I add the car garage; however, the car garage is not as long (in length) as the main house. Thus, I have an irregular rectangular shape. How do I locate the center of an irregular rectangular shape. Please advise.
Staff Cecil Lee Posted January 23, 2003 Staff Share Posted January 23, 2003 Dear Jen,If you have a sketch, please upload to this forum so that I can guide u on how to determine the centrepoint.Usualy the garage should not be taken into consideration. But I can understand that it may be quite difficult for you to `cut-it' off.Do draw a sketch. For resources on finding the door direction, please go to this link:http://www.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-cecilcompass.htmWarmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 1/23/2003 11:34:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:Dear Cecil:I try to use a compass todetermine the direction of myhouse.I have a car garage attachedto my house.
