Dear Cecil:
I try to use a compass to determine the direction of my house.
I have a car garage attached to my house. Should I include the car garage when I locate the center of my house?
My "main" house is in a rectangular shape. I run into this problem if I consider the car garage as part of the house -- the house would be wider (in width) if I add the car garage; however, the car garage is not as long (in length) as the main house. Thus, I have an irregular rectangular shape.
How do I locate the center of an irregular rectangular shape. Please advise.

Dear Jen,
If you have a sketch, please upload to this forum so that I can guide u on how to determine the centrepoint.
Usualy the garage should not be taken into consideration. But I can understand that it may be quite difficult for you to `cut-it' off.
Do draw a sketch.
